I am Linda Miller and I live in Delaware, about a mile from the Atlantic Ocean. I finally retired last year so that I could spend more time “doing the fun stuff”. That, of course, includes making doll clothes and designing patterns. I enjoy setting up small vignettes of the dolls and writing little books with photographs about what the dolls are doing, thinking and saying. My granddaughter, 4 nieces and 2 of my friends’ girls love the pictures and stories and the doll clothes and accessories that I make for them.
Last year I started my doll pattern business called Merry Manatees Creations in honor of the manatee, one of my favorite creatures. A portion of Merry Manatees’ proceeds is donated to adopt manatees – gentle, wonderful endangered creatures – through the national “Save the Manatee Club”.
So here I am. I can’t believe I am so lucky to be able to spend lots of time with my girls, as I call them. And recently, little Allister and Robbie came to live, so I finally got my boys.
